International Cosplay Day Manila 2013 — now on its third year, is kicking things up a notch with its first ever ICD Manila Cosplay Photo Contest!
The contest will run from 4 June to 16 August 2013. The winner will be announced at ICD Manila 2013 on 24 August, at the SM North EDSA Leg of the Cosplay Tournament of Champions 4th Stage.
The winner will receive:
A necomimi Brainwave Cat Ears headset worth JPY 12,000
PHP 3000 in Cash
A Framed Certificate
To join, simply Like magnetic-rose.net — the official organizers of ICD Manila 2013, on Facebook. Use our Photo Contest app to upload your photo. Then, ask your friends to vote for your submission by Liking magnetic-rose.net, and clicking Vote on your entry.
The top five contestants based on the number of Likes on their entries will enter the final stage of judging. The winner will be selected from the finalists by a secret panel of judges, whose identities will be disclosed on ICD Manila 2013. The critera for judging during the final stage is: Technical Merit 40%, Artistic Merit 40%, and Public Votes 20%.
Contestants may submit as many photos as they like, as long as the costumes featured in the shots are not the same costume. The use of Photoshop to touch-up shots is allowed.
All images submitted must be the work of the individual submitting them. If you are submitting a photo entry taken by another person, please make sure you have secured their permission prior to joining the competition.
This competition requires at least 10 entries to push through. Competition rules may be updated without prior notice.
