The Site
magnetic-rose.net is dedicated to all things J-pop for Philippine fans — manga, anime, music, gaming, cosplay, toys, and BL. We are currently on version 6.8 starting the 3rd April 2013 with a logo refresh and more standardized icons.
The blog was named after a short film about a haunted space station entitled “Magnetic Rose”. It was part of an anthology called “Memories”, written by Otomo Katsuhiro, adapted for the screen by Kon Satoshi, and directed by Morimoto Kouji. Kanno Yoko provided the musical score while Maria Callas’ performance of “Un bel dì, vedremo” was the signature vocal piece.
