On our last morning in Tokyo, we made one final circuit through Harajuku; there were still a couple of souvenirs to pick up and a few places to re-explore before we left.

Thankfully, it was a Monday, so the place was not as crowded as our last visit. We were finally able to browse the stores without being elbowed every five seconds, and as a result we managed to pick up a few things for the kids and the girly-girls back home.

As for me, I only had one place in mind: the Evangelion Store. The store changes its special in-store displays monthly, and since it was already April I wanted to see what was new.

And I was right: although the Kaoru Month event was still sort-of running at the store, they had already replaced the Evangelion Racing exhibit with the new graffiti line — featuring illustrations of Evangelion done in street-art style.

I managed to snag one other item for my stash, before we make another surgical strike at Kiddie Land Cat Street, and high-tailed it out of there.

Lemme tell you that I am so, so glad we had our suitcases delivered to the airport, otherwise we would’ve missed our NEX train and our flight. “One last trip” is ill-advised. Trust me <3
