Muji Manila

Manila style icon chuvaness has confirmed on her popular fashion and lifestyle blog that Japanese retailer Muji will be opening their Manila flagship store in September 2010.

The Muji Manila store will be located at Bonifacio High Street, in the space currently occupied by Play & Display’s second BHS branch (on top of The Gap).

Muji — or Mujirushi Ryouhin in its full Japanese name, is best known for being a “brand-less” brand (the name itself means “no name good products”). They offer a wide variety of clothing, accessories, personal care, interior and household goods, stationery, and specialty food items famous for their simple but elegant designs and no frills aesthetic.
