AME no Jidai: The 2009 UP Anime and Manga Enthusiasts Fair

UP AME is delighted to invite fans of anime, manga, and cosplay to their sixth annual fair! AME no Jidai: The 2009 AME Fair is slated for 28th November 2009 at the A. Venue Events Hall, Makati Avenue, Makati City (MAP); festivities will be from 10:00 AM onwards.

AME no Jidai is another themed event, with many of the booths and activities patterned after temple fairs in feudal Japan. Expect to see traditional Japanese fun and games like goldfish catching, fortune telling, and an old-style tea shop. You can also take part in onstage competitions such as cosplay, karaoke, and live-dubbing.

The University of the Philippines Anime and Manga Enthusiasts (UP AME) is an officially recognized and accredited organization in the Diliman campus. UP AME is one of the oldest and most respected organizations of its kind, having been established by several concurrent members of the UP Philippines-Japan Friendship Club (UP Tomo-Kai).
