Macross Frontier Film on 21st November

According to ANN the film adaptation for Macross Frontier will open in Japan on 21st November 2009. The film will be entitled Gekijouban Macross Frontier [Itsuwari no Utahime] (Macross Frontier the Movie: The False Songstress). Details regarding the film will be published in the latest issue of Kadokawa Shoten’s Macross Ace magazine.
The film was first announced during the mock “Launch Ceremony” of the fictional SDF1 Macross last 22nd February 2009. The event was highlighted by the attendance of Macross creator Kawamori Shouji and Macross castmembers Nakamura Yuuichi (Macross Frontier – Saotome Alto), Endo Aya (Macross Frontier – Sheryl Nome), half-Filipina Nakajima Megumi (Macross Frontier – Ranka Lee), Hazama Michio (Superdimensional Fortress Macross – Captain Bruno J. Global) and Hayashi Nobutoshi (Macross 7 – Basara Nekki).
